One of my treasured items – the Givenchy studded crown from the Resort 2010 collection. I absolutely love this piece but it is a bit dangerous to hug people while wearing it! Also not fantastic if, like me, you are prone to headaches. However, no pain no gain they say! It is definitely an eye-catcher and a conversation starter. Paired with the backless dress and some plain black heels it completes an outfit using very few items!

We shot this in a little Autumn sunshine a few weeks back, winter has replaced it now though! Whenever I see a garment that is backless or has a cut-out back, I have to get it. I guess it’s kind of become my ‘thing’ – I just think it’s so much more discreet to show some skin with a backless dress (for example), rather than have a super low cut top with a lot of cleavage (not that I have much) or wear a non-existent skirt. A lot more chic, in my opinion.
Many of our posts this winter are going to be backdated due to Cormac being ‘Up North’ and myself in London, but we are going to try and get a bunch of shoots done in the New Year!

Every now and then something will come along that just makes me stop and think…wow. The things that human beings have done with technology! Granted, this pro make-up isn’t exactly on the same level as, say, space travel. But hey, it could really help with your day-to-day existence.
